The government has banned MDN due to the immense pressure exerted on the government by religious scholars and due to the sacrifices made by the public. Hence, we are thankful to the government for banning MDN despite former President Nasheed tried everything he could to prevent the government from banning MDN. 

However banning MDN is not enough. There are many occupying top positions in the government who subscribes to MDN’s ideology. The people of Maldives should be saved from them. Those who wrote that report by MDN must be punished and they should not be allowed to repeat such as act. 

Even in other countries, a common cause for disharmony is when matters related to Islam are treated with injustice. Also, not implementing what Allah has ordered is another cause. Hence, our society might be heading this way if the government fails to take appropriate action. It is evident from experiences in other countries that it will not be possible to stop it using weapons. 

So it is very important for all state institutions to consider this.
