Maldives Police Service has installed CCTV cameras on Sina-Male’ bridge.

Commissioner of Police Mohammed Hameed tweeted saying that they have installed CCTV cameras on the bridge and that they are operational now. In addition he said that speed cameras will be installed on the bridge which will have the capability to capture license plates of speeding vehicles automatically.

Installing CCTV cameras on the bridge is a presidential pledge of President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih.
