New allegations regarding the report on Dr.Afrasheem’s murder has come to light. 

The report which was published by the Death and disappearances committee was rejected by the family of Dr.Afrasheem. 

Former Commissioner of Police Abdullah Riyaz, who is also a member of parliament, tried to question the members of the commission via the 241 one committee of the parliament. However the MDP members who dominate the committee refused to let that happen. 

Even before, MDP was suspected of having a hand in the murder. Since MDP’s MP’s refused to question the members of the commission it shows that they have something to hide. Riyaz revealed that while speaking on CNM’s “5 Kaafu” Program”. 

He said that himself and members of the public had many questions regarding the report and that he wanted to summon members of the commission to the committee. He said that it could not happen because MDP MPs refused to do so.
