Association for Maldivian Traditional Medicine has stated that the association has medicine that can be used to treat corona virus.

In a letter sent to the Health Minister by the association, the president of the association Mariyam Saeeda requested the health minister to involve traditional Maldivian medical experts in the government’s effort to contain covid-19. 

“We are extremely worried that the covid-19 might spread in the country. We have medicines that can be used to combat the virus. There are various methods which can be used to treat the virus, with the will of Allah. We are ready to provide these medicines if needed” said Saeedha. 

Speaking to Miadhu News Saeedha said that even in China, traditional medicine was used to treat the virus.

Even though there is no treatment for covid-19, doctors around the world are using various types of medicine to treat the symptoms.
