200 Maldivians in India are to be brought back next week according to the government.

Maldivians who are living in over 9 cities will be brough back by a chartered plane of national airline Maldivian. Maldivians staying in Punjab, Calcutta, Gurguan, Rishicash, Delhi, Vellur, Chennai and Trivandrum will be brought back. 

According to the foreign ministry, the Maldivian Embassy in Delhi and the consulate in Trivandrum will assist the Maldivians in internal travels within India to reach the airport.

All Maldivians who come back must complete a 14 day quarantine.
