Commissioner of Police Mohammed Hameed has revealed that so far 23 police officers has been tested positive for covid-19.

Today he tweeted saying that he contacted all the 23 officers and all of them are in good health. He said that 293 police officers and other staffs are at the moment in isolation to prevent further spread of the virus.

So far 1078 people has been infected with covid-19 in the Maldives while 4 people has passed away.
