In memory of Dr. Ibrahim Umar Maniku, one of the forefathers of Maldivian hospitality, two scholarships for Maldivian nationals to study at the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM) in Bangkok for the September 2023 intake are available thanks to a generous donation by Niyama Private Islands.

Covering 100% tuition for the BBA in Global Hospitality Management, scholars will graduate with a well-rounded skill set and preferred employment status at one of our luxury hotels in the Maldives, the award-winning Niyama, Anantara, or Avani+.

These scholarships cover the following expenses:

• 100% tuition fee for seven semesters / three-and-a-half years (USD 37,995)

• Learning resources and practical arts apparel (USD 4,470)

• Health and accident insurance (USD 2,230)

• Admission fee (USD 100)
