H.E. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has sent messages of felicitation to the President of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Xi Jinping, and the Premier of the State Council, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, H.E. Li Qiang, on the occasion of the Chinese Spring Festival and New Year.

In his message to H.E. Xi Jinping, President of China, President Dr Muizzu, offered warm felicitations and heartfelt wishes to the President, government, and friendly people of China. In addition, he highlighted the long-standing friendship and partnership that China and the Maldives have built on mutual respect and trust. He expressed confidence in strengthening bilateral ties by collaborating together.

In his message to H.E. Li Qiang, the Premier of the State Council, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President Dr Muizzu offered his warmest greetings and reaffirmed the Maldives' unwavering commitment to expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Concluding both messages, the President wished the President of China, the Premier, and the Chinese people good health, happiness, and continued success.
