Techfin Maldives Pvt Ltd (“Techfin”) is a subsidiary of Ooredoo Maldives Plc. (the “Company” or “Ooredoo Maldives”) which was incorporated on 16th May 2024 for the purpose of holding the Payment Service Provider Licence under a separate company to comply with regulatory requirements of the Maldives Monetary Authority.

Further to the recommendation of the Board of Directors of Ooredoo Maldives, our Shareholders have approved the sale and transfer of 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand) shares of Techfin from Ooredoo Maldives to OFT International LLC. The approval was provided by the Shareholders during the Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) of Ooredoo Maldives held on Sunday, 15th December 2024 at 20:00 hrs. OFT International LLC, is a limited liability company incorporated in Qatar. The ultimate beneficial owner of Ooredoo Maldives and OFT International LLC is Ooredoo Q.P.S.C – Qatar.
