Ooredoo Maldives Partners with Qatar Charity to Repair Masjid Al Sheikh Qasim bin Al-Thani Ahead of Ramadan

Ooredoo Maldives is proud to announce its partnership with [Qatar Charity Name] to upgrade the Masjid Al Sheikh Qasim bin Al-Thani (Hulhumalé Grand Mosque) with full air conditioning system, ensuring it is ready to welcome the public for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

In a ceremony held at Doha, Qatar today CEO & MD of Ooredoo Maldives, Mr. Khalid Al – Hamadi and Chief Marketing Officer from Qatar Charity, Mr. Ahmad Fakhroo signed the agreement. The ceremony was also attended by Chairperson of Ooredoo Maldives, Ms. Fatima Sultan Kuwari .

Hulhumale’ Grand mosque will be fully equipped with a modern air conditioning system to provide a comfortable environment for the more than 1,800 people it accommodates. The grounds of the mosque are covered with trees, and inside the mosque, a beautiful geometric design plays out over the ceiling. The Hulhumale Grand Mosque was built in 2006.

Repairs are set to begin immediately and will be completed in time for Ramadan, ensuring that worshippers can perform their prayers in comfort during this sacred time.

Speaking on the initiative, CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, Khalid Al-Hamadi, stated:
