Maldives.net.mv - MATATO has officially launched online voting platform for Maldives Travel Awards 2015. This year’s awards received more than 100 nominations in 33 categories, which reflects the the growing popularity of the awards.

Online votes, which account for the 40 percent of the final tally for the winners, will be accepted until 10th April 2015. Online voting is open for all travelers, travel agents, enthusiasts, employees of the industry, can vote for their favorite destinations, from anywhere in the world via travel awards website www.travelawards.mv

Maldives Travel Awards 2015 will represent the travel industry in wider spectrum than the previous years, with addition of more categories to recognize the pioneering efforts of the travel entrepreneurs who are reshaping the travel landscape of the destination Maldives.

The new categories added to this year’s awards are: Leading Human Resources Management; Leading Tourist/ Guest House Island; Leading Domestic Airport; Leading Budget Airline; Leading International Hotel Brand; Leading Local Hotel Brand and Leading Private Island Resort.

The grand event for the travel awards is scheduled for November 2015 at Coco Bodu Hithi.
