President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of felicitation to the President of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Xi Jinping, on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, it is my great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and friendly people of China, on the auspicious occasion of the Year of the Monkey.”
“I would like to convey my good wishes for Your Excellency’s health and happiness, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the People’s Republic of China. Gong Xi Fa Cai!”
