President Inaugurates PSM’s 24 Hour News Channel

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has, this Wednesday morning, inaugurated Public Service Media’s “PSM News Channel”.
The 24 hours news channel, inaugurated in conjunction of World Press Freedom Day was launched during an event at the President’s Office.
Upon the channel’s inauguration a breaking news segment was broadcast live with the news coverage of the President inaugurating the Channel.
In the last two years, Public Service Media (PSM) has introduced Majlis TV, YES TV, Munnaaru TV, Maldives TV and TVM HD, in addition to Dhivehiraajjeyge Adu, Dhivehi FM and Dheenuge Adu; PSM’s existing three Radio channels.
