The Hindu has reported that 36 fishermen from India will come to Maldives to search for the missing fishermen who were lost in the recent storm.
The Hindu reported that the fishermen are traveling to Maldives because they believe that the Indian government is not doing enough to search for the lost fishermen.
The fishing boats obtained permission from the Foreign Ministry of Maldives through the Indian Embassy in Maldives.
The boats left for Maldives from Cochin on 29th December. A coordinator for the mission said that they will begin the search tomorrow.
Indian coastguard did a lot of work to find the missing fishermen. They conducted sea and air operations and even Maldivian coastguard assisted them.
