Managing Director of Noorul Islam International Private Limited Faizal Khan has sent a letter to the health ministry stating that they have overcome the challenges in managing Kulhudhuhfushi Hospital.

Health Ministry gave until today to solve all the problems and threatened to take legal actions if not done so. Health Minister contracted Noorul Islam International, the company which manages NIMS Hospital of India, to manage Kulhudhuhfushi Hospital.

According to sources, the problems occurred due to personal problems between Faizal Khan and Ali Usaid, two directors of the company. In the letter sent by Faizal Khan, he stated that they are trying to conduct a board meeting to solve the problems but, since Ali Usaid is not cooperating they couldn’t hold a board meeting. He said that, since then they have held a general meeting and solved the problems.

Faizal said that they have appointed three directors to the board, two Indians and a British citizen. He said that with this change they will not have to worry about the quorum.

Faizal assured the ministry that they will manage the hospital as agreed with the ministry.
