Tourism Minister of Maldives, Moosa Zameer have said that the tourism industry of Maldives is the number one in the world.
The minister said that record number of 1.3 million tourists visited Maldives last year and that it is an 8 percent increase compared to 2016. He said that today, we can see the result of the hard work done by the tourism industry for the last 45 years and also the results of the efforts of the government to develop the industry.
