Maldives Trade Union and Jumuhoory Party has agreed to work together.
According MTU, they agreed to work together because they support the economic policies of JP and because the leader of JP is one of the most experienced businessmen in the country.
MTY stated that they want to attain economic development and hence before making this coalition they looked at parties that has policies aimed at developing the economy.
In the ceremony held to sign the agreement between MTU and JP, the deputy leader of JP Abdullah Riyaz said that this agreement was realized through days of hard work and that this agreement will benefit the work of the opposition coalition.
