ATMS helped 2.5 million customers to access services without queuing: Andrew

CEO of Bank of Maldives, Andrew Healy have said that the ATMs helped 2.5 million customers access the bank’s services without queuing.
Andrew Healy said that 10 million transactions were done on ATMs last year and out of that 2.5 million transactions were done to deposit money. He said that hence 2.5 million customers deposited money without queuing.
He further said that the bank gives a high priority to make sure that the banks services are easy to access. He said that the bank has invested a lot for that.
Even though there are many ATMs of BML, still many people have to queue to get services.
According to BML, more than 23,000 customers joined the bank last year.
