Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom have stated that the police entered his residence, Endherimaage against the court order.

Maumoon tweeted saying that the court order says that police can search places related to Faaris Maumoon and that Endherimaage does not have a room of Faaris or an office used by Faaris.

According to sources, Police started searching Endherimaage without the presence of the owners of the house. Meanwhile, police have arrested Maumoon’s son Faaris Maumoon for planning to overthrow the government.
