Opposition has filed a case to the Supreme Court asking to remove President Yameen from his position. The case was submitted by former President Nasheed and former President Maumoon.

Nasheed tweeted today saying that they filed a case in which President Yameen is suspected of corruption and theft. He said that, they requested to remove President Yameen from office because he has lost the conditions he needs to have to remain as president.

Nasheed tweeted saying that the case was jointly submitted by him, former president Maumoon, JP Leader Qasim and deputy leader of AP Ali Zahir.
