Maldives Airports Company Limited has sign an agreement with HMS Host International to operate KFC and Pizza Hurt at the Water Front Restaurant of Velana International Airport.
In a ceremony held today the MD of MACL Adhil Moosa signed the agreement on behalf of MACL while Walter Saib the CEO of HMS Host International signed the agreement on their behalf.
Under the agreement, Pizza Hut, KFC, Costa Coffee, and Harvest Market will be operated at the restaurant. Even now the company operates franchise brands in 150 airports around the world.
Speaking at the ceremony today MD of MACL, Adhil Moosa said that the restaurant still has free slots and they are talking with more international brands. “HMS Host is the number one operator of franchise restaurants. Even now they are operating at airports of 120 countries. This company has been operating in this industry for more than 100 years now” said Adhil.
In addition, Adhil said that HMS Host has more than 5000 staffs and that the company made 3.2 billion euro as revenue last year. Speaking at the ceremony, the CEO of HMS Host Walter Saib said that it was an honor to operate in a beautiful country such as Maldives. He assured that because of their brands the number of tourists visiting Maldives will increase.
