President Yameen have said that the government is increasing the capacity of the state on various fronts so that we can do things on our own.
Speaking at a rally held last night by PPM he said that while fuel is very important for the country the most challenging part of fuel import is the freight cost. He said that with the oil tanker acquired by STO recently, the challenges in importing oil will be eased.
In addition he said that, now it is easy to dredge land with the dredger brought by MTCC. He said that Maldives will not run out of land even if we sell land because in the past 4 years the government has dredged enough land which is the equivalent of 20 average islands in Maldives.
President said that Maldives is not only developing in terms of infra structure. He said that the pass percentage in O levels has increased to 77 percent and students who passed in 3 subjects has increased to 93 percent. He said that it is a huge achievement compared to 2013.
