JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim have requested to implement the Supreme Court verdict as soon as possible.

He said that he believes that everyone should obey the Supreme Court verdict. “If not, whoever doing it is going against the law. I do not believe that any Maldivian will disobey the Supreme Court verdict” said Qasim.

In addition Qasim said that the Supreme Court verdict shows that they have done their duty in upholding the laws of Maldives. Furthermore he said that he is still getting treatment in Germany and that his passport has been withheld by the immigration.

He said that he hopes that he will get his passport tommorow. In addition he said that he did not lose his parliament seat and hence he is trying to go back to Maldives by the time parliament reopens.

Qasim Ibrahim wished well for the nation and asked the people to be thankful to Allah.
