Civil Court has ordered to freeze bank accounts of Montilian International a company owned by former VP Ahmed Adeeb’s family and bank accounts of Millanium Capital Management a company owned by Haamid Ismail.
Civil Court ordered to freeze the accounts after Tourism Ministry filed in a request to freeze them.
The order issued by Civil Court to freeze accounts of Millanium Capital Management states that the accounts were frozen because money that were paid for the head lease of Lh.Maabinhuraa were deposited to the company’s accounts. In the order issued to freeze Adheeb’s companies, it stated that an Italian citizen paid 2.25 million dollars to that company which was actually supposed to be paid to the state.
