Maldives Correctional Service has locked their doors when opposition members gathered around the office and tried to enter the office to obtain information about the people who were acquitted by the Supreme Court last night.
MP for Villingili constituency Saud Hussein said that previously the door of Correctional Service is open 24 hours but tonight they locked the door and refused to open it.
Saud said that the members went there to get the latest information. “ They are not giving any information to the families. That is why members are coming here but they didn’t meet us.”
Saud said that they cannot hide and delay obeying the Supreme Court order. He said that SO police are trying to send them away from the area even though they are not creating any violence.
