Former Foreign Minister of the Maldives, and current state minister at Health Ministry, Dunya Maumoon have said that Maldives needs the assistance of the international community to strengthen democracy.

Dunya tweeted saying that Maldives needs foreign assistance to strengthen democracy and to increase institutional capacity. She also said that the President have also said something in similar regard.

Dunya said this after retweeting the tweet of UN SG calling to implement the Supreme Court verdict.
