Supreme Court has revoked the Criminal Court order to arrest the Judicial Administrator Hassan Saeed.
The Supreme Court order issued tonight saying that Maldives Police Service did not follow the due process in obtaining the court warrant to arrest him.
Supreme Court stated that it was evident that the police was misusing criminal justice system and hence asked not to take any action regarding the arrest warrant. Also the court ordered to submit all the documents related to the case to the Supreme Court before 7:00 pm.
Police raided Hassan’s apartment early morning however police did not find him.
