President Yameen have stated that at the moment he cannot say whether this was a coup, but this disrupted the whole system.
President Yameen revealed this while speaking at a gathering held at Rumaalu2 Campaign Center of PPM on Tuesday night.
He said that these days were sad and dark and such days can only be avoided when everyone works in the best interest of the nation.
He said that no matter how much money is offered such things shall not be done and that money cannot be taken anywhere else than hell. He said that parliament members can change their political ideology but Supreme Court judges cannot change their ideology and that they should be impartial.
In addition, he said that it will be hard to regain the lost dignity of the Supreme Court. He also questioned which verdict the government should accept, the one on 1st February or the one that was issued on 6th. He questioned whether they will not issue another verdict revoking the previous ones.
