Deputy Leader of JP Ameen Ibrahim have said that the current administration started a terrorism season first and that many people were sentenced for terrorism. He said that after that now they have started a season of corruption.

He said that in this season everyone that are getting arrested are suspected of terrorism. Ameen said that the government does not have the capacity to play on the field. “What they are doing is giving a red card to the opposing team before the match starts. After that they are trying to score goals. After that they say we have won. Those arnt real goals and the world does not accept scoring like this” said Ameen while using a football analogy to describe the politics of Maldives.

Ameen called the government to stop unlawful arrest and asked to free the judiciary.
