JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim has tweeted saying that the nation is in peril because of President Yameen and that international assistance is required to save Maldives.

He tweeted today saying that the government has paralyzed the parliament and the judiciary, and that corruption is widespread. He said that hence international assistance is required to save Maldives from this situation.

In addition, he said that the basic rights of the citizens are curtailed and the international community must intervene in a way that will not jeopardize the sovereignty of the nation.
