Sheikh Imran has visited the family of Abdullah Rasheed. Abdullah Rasheed was a May Day detainee and he died while he was under the custody of Department of Penitentiary and Rehabilitation Service.
After Imran was freed yesterday by the Supreme Court, he and his wife visited the family of Abdullah Rasheed. Abdullah Rasheed got ill while he was in prison and the DPRS failed to treat him.
He was mistreated by DPRS officers various times according to multiple sources. Sheikh Imran said that until everyone who was jailed regarding May Day protests are freed, he will not believe that he is free. He said that he will do whatever he can to free them.
