Parliament of the Maldives has passed the resolution calling to free President Nasheed.
The resolution was submitted to the parliament by MP Eva Abdullah. While 57 members voted to pass the resolution 9 members voted against it.
The resolution was passed based on the report issued by the research committee formed to investigate the matter.
