Finance Minister Ibrahim Ameer have said that they have hope that they will be able to get 300 million Rufiyaa as aid for next year’s budget.
He said that they will work with many countries to do it but do not intend to target any specific country.
In the previous administration most of the free aid was from China and Saudi Arabia. This year the government got 734 million Rufiyaa while 343 million Rufiyaa was received as aid. In 2016 the government got 188.4 million Rufiyaa.
