Ismail Waheed a former CEO of Dhiraagu has been appointed as the chairman of Dhiraagu.
The president of the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) Mohammed Nizar announced the decision.
Even though the PCB appoints board members and directors to state owned corporations, it is the president who nominates people to these positions.
Ismail Waheed has been working at Dhiraagu since the formation of the company and worked as an engineer at the company as well. He left the company in 2007 for a position and Cable and Wireless.
