High Court of the Maldives has scheduled former President Yameen’s appeal case hearing for tomorrow.
The hearing will begin at 9:00 am according to the High Court’s website. The Criminal Court granted the Prosecutor General’s request to detain the ex-president until the end of his trial. The PG stated that he might tamper with evidence.
President Yameen is being charged with money laundering, a charge which he denies. At the moment he is admitted at Indhira Ghandhi Memorial hospital after facing complicated health issues.
