Anti-Corruption Commission of the Maldives has extended the maternity leave for the commission’s staffs up to 6 months.
According to the commission the change will be in effect starting from 1st April.
On the international women’s day President Solih announced that all government staffs will get a 6 months paid maternity leave and one month paid paternity leave.
ACC stated that the staffs will get a leave starting from the day they give birth or from the expected day of delivery.
