Judicial Service Commission of the Maldives has stated that only Justice Abdullah Didi of the Supreme Court has been lodged at the commission.
JSC issued this statement after rumors that complaints of Chief Justice Ahmed Abdullah Didi, Justice Abdullah Areef and Justice Adam Mohammed Abdullah has been lodged at the commission.
When JSC decided to suspend Justice Abdullah Didi, the Supreme Court ordered not to suspend the judge. However JSC decided that the suspension will be retained.
Meanwhile, the Judicial Committee of the parliament has ruled that the JSC’s ruling was valid.
