Parliament committee passes to deduct half of the salary of MPs who do not disclose personal financial details

Parliament committee formed to create regulations of the parliament has passed a regulation to deduct half of the salary of member of parliaments who do not disclose personal financial details. 

As per the new regulation, the MPs should disclose financial details of their spouses and children as well.

Financial details should be disclosed before 31st August and those who do not do it will get a notice to submit it 15 days. If the MP fails to do it then 50 percent of the salary will be deducted for one month. 

If the MP refuses to submit it even after the 15 day period, then the case will be forwarded to relevant authorities for further investigation.
