Parliament oversight committee on independent commissions has passed a motion to dismiss 4 members of the civil service commission including the president of the commission.
The committee passed to dismiss the president of the commission Dr.Shameem, vice president Shaheed Mohammed, member of the commission Zakariyya Mohammed and member of the commission Ibrahim Shaheeq.
The committee made this decision stating that these members do not have the capacity to run the commission. All the five members of the committee passed to dismiss these 4 members. The motion was put forward by MP Abdullah Saneef and MP Ahmed Haleem supported the motion.
The motion will be then sent to the parliament and all the parliament members will take part in a vote to make the final decision.
