Maldives.Male Specialty Products Promotion Conference hosted by the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province, P.R.China was held at Barceló Nasandhura in Malé, Maldives. The event was attended by Mr. Li Chaowei, Director-General of the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province; Mr. Zhang Xu, Counselor, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Maldives; and Mr. Musthafa Abdul Ghafoor, Director of the Business Development, Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade of Maldives. A total of 24 companies from Yunnan, China, and 60 Maldivian companies participated in the event, engaging in discussions on specialty product promotion, market expansion, and trade and economic cooperation.
During the event, Kunming Dolphin International Travel Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SPLENDID ASIA PVT LTD. A separate tripartite MOU was signed by Ikebana Pvt. Ltd., Yunnan Yuxi Hengfeng Wanli Flowers Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Aliveflora Import & Export Co., Ltd.
Through government-business exchanges, company presentations, and the signing of cooperation agreements, the event enhanced mutual understanding between enterprises from Yunnan and the Maldives and created new opportunities to expand trade channels and explore cooperation in areas including tourism services，floriculture，new energy transportation, and related infrastructure. The initiative is expected to further strengthen economic and trade exchanges and promote practical cooperation between Yunnan Province and the Maldives.
