Deputy Leader of PPM, Abduh Raheem have said that the PPM rally at Kulhuduhfushi will show that the people of the island are ready to develop the airport after reclaiming the wetlands.
Speaking to the press Abduh Raheem said that PPM will not stay idle. “Why didn’t those people who are concerned about reclaiming the wetlands, develop an airport in the island during their administration” said Abduh Raheem.
Abduh Raheem said that the islanders will not be affected due to the airport project and that they will benefit immensely from it.
Kulhudhuhfushi is the most populated island north of Male’ and thousands of people visit the island from near by atolls for various reasons.
