ރައީސް ނަޝީދު މިމޭރުމުން ވިދާޅުވެފައިވަނީ ގުޅިފައިވާ އިދިކޮޅު ފަރާތްތަކުން އެއް ކެންޑިޑޭޓަކު ނެރުމަށް ރޭ ނިންމި ނިންމުމަށް މަރުޙަބާ ވިދާޅުވެ ކުރެއްވި ޓްވީޓެއްގައެވެ.
"އެމްޑީޕީގެ ރިޔާސީ ކެންޑިޑޭޓާ ޖޭޕީގެ ރަނިންގމޭޓްގެ ފަހަތުގަ މުޅި އިދިކޮޅު އޮތުމުން އިންތިޚާބު ކާމިޔާބުކޮށް ރާއްޖެއަށް ބޭނުންވާ ޑިމޮކްރަސީ ގެނެވޭނެ." ކަމަށް ވެސް ރައީސް ނަޝީދު ވަނީ ވިދާޅުވެފައެވެ.
My heartfelt congratulations to the joint opposition parties who have today agreed to field a common Presidential ticket. A MDP presidential candidate with a JP running mate, backed by the whole opposition. I believe this is the way forward in restoring democracy in the Maldives.
